Summer 2026: Peak Pals

    In partnership with the Breckenridge Recreation Center, Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC), and Blue Skies Behavioral Group, we are excited to announce the first-ever Buddy Week Summer Camp—a week designed to bring peers with and without disabilities together through what they do best: play, explore, and adventure.

 We believe our community grows stronger when adventure and play connect children of diverse abilities and experiences. Campers will enjoy rock climbing, hiking, swimming, and recreational activities with thoughtful planning and supports that help each child participate in ways that feel meaningful and successful.

Through shared adventure in age-based groups, Buddy Week encourages empathy, builds confidence, and fosters friendships, mentoring, and leadership opportunities that carry into the rest of summer, the school year, and beyond.

The goal is simple: shared adventure, real friendships, lasting memories—and maybe even a few scraped knees if we’re lucky

    Creemos que nuestra comunidad se fortalece cuando la aventura y el juego conectan a niños con diversas habilidades y experiencias. Los campistas disfrutarán de escalada en roca, caminatas, natación y actividades recreativas con una planificación cuidadosa y apoyos que ayuden a cada niño a participar de maneras que se sientan significativas y exitosas.

    A través de aventuras compartidas en grupos según la edad, Buddy Week fomenta la empatía, genera confianza y fomenta amistades, tutorías y oportunidades de liderazgo que se prolongan durante el resto del verano, el año escolar y más allá.

El objetivo es simple: aventuras compartidas, amistades reales, recuerdos duraderos y tal vez incluso algunas rodillas raspadas si tenemos suerte.
